As another year comes to an end, we are looking back on some of the amazing things we have accomplished at ReSourceYYC in our second year.
We are very thankful for the continued support we have from our members, partners and the talented individuals that walk through our doors, especially with some of the big changes we went through this year.
Since last year we have increased our member base by 50 percent and we now have 15 companies occupying permanent office or desk space at ReSourceYYC. We not only grew in members but also in staff, we had Marlene Hernandez join our team in June, just in time for some major changes that were going to take place.
Having outgrown our previous space in the Demcor Building on 10th Ave and MacLeod Trail, we made the move “across the tracks”. With this move, we tripled in office space, boardrooms, event space and more! We also integrated ourselves into the downtown lifestyle with being in a professional high-rise on the 20th floor with +15 access and being a few minutes walk away from the Core and Stephen Ave.
Along with our move, we sponsored many conferences and conventions throughout the year. These included the 2017 GeoConvention, W21C Innovation Academy and The Post. At all these events we met incredible individuals, saw innovation come to life and saw entrepreneurs be inspired to pursue their business dreams.
We have also been happy to announce a few partnerships along the way such as Aspen Properties, OPUS Virtual Offices, Transcend Management Advisors Inc., Insite Performance Coaching, TSGI, GoldMind and many more to come in the future.
