Virtual meetings and events are the new normal but they have been going on for years before this. How will the extra push from last year shape these events for the future? Panellists

Sandra Gollnick is a sought-after expert in immersive digital and live events of various sizes from the initial design of the event to final evaluation including overall planning, coordination, and execution. She also possesses an intuitive ability to recognize and understand the underlying motivations and needs of people. She translates these ideas and creates experiences for change resulting in high-level participant engagement.

Sandra is a Certified Meeting Professional and Digital Event Strategist who is inspired by creating experiences that foster change, learning, and bring people together.  She has been in the meetings industry for over 20 years working with Alberta Health Services as a Meeting and Health Marketing Specialist, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and most recently the Fairmont Palliser.

Jeff Griffiths is a co-founder of WorkForce Strategies International, a Calgary-based workforce and organizational development consultancy focused on evidence-based approaches to using individual and collective competency to achieve outstanding results for clients. He began his career as an officer in the Canadian military, where he learned first-hand the critical nature of developing people to enable mission success.

Since 2000, he has worked with senior managers in small and mid-sized clients in a variety of sectors to create high-performing, talent-first organizations where people want to work.

Sheila Carruthers MBA-PR FCMC SCMP has been an independent management consultant for more than 15 years.

Sheila is a Certified Management Consultant Fellow and business excellence professional. She is an adult educator, facilitator, and public speaker both on-stage and on-line at universities, professional associations, and for private clients. Sheila shares her own and others’ experiences to impart solid advice on best practices we can all benefit from.

Building on her work in international financial institutes, the diplomatic service, large charitable foundations, multi-national corporations, and charities in the UK, US, and Canada, Sheila helps clients integrate social value strategies using global standards in business and communication practices.

Her specialties include: Ethics, Management Consulting Standards and Processes, Environment, Social, & Governance (ESG), Sustainability & Circular Life Cycle, and Public Relations.

Chris Sorensen CPA, CGA, is the Founder and President of Iteration Insights, a tech-enabled data analytics solutions provider based in Calgary, Alberta.

He is a Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate and Microsoft Certified Trainer with a combined 20+ years of industry and teaching experience.

Chris provides our partners with the data-driven solutions they seek and has proven capabilities to train and empower their people in analytics. In his career, he has lead numerous Analytics projects in more than 15 industries across small to enterprise-sized organizations.

As an adjunct instructor of the Business Intelligence program at SAIT, he plays a significant role in shaping new talent in Calgary's emerging tech sector. Following his lifelong learning approach, Chris also coordinates both Power Platform and Azure Analytics User Groups, providing a space dedicated to knowledge-sharing and growing Alberta's tech community.
