Effective proposals are the difference between getting work or not...
Persuasive proposals convince the prospective client that we know what we are doing and will help them achieve their goals. We need to be able to articulate our understanding of the problems or opportunities and convince the proposal recipient that they need us.
This session is an opportunity to pick up some tips on best practices in proposal-writing and share your own tips. It will be facilitated by ResourceYYC member, Sheila Carruthers.
PRESENTER
Sheila Carruthers MBA FCMC SCMP* has been an independent management consultant for more than 15 years.
Sheila has prepared many proposals herself and in collaboration with other consultants and subject matter experts. Some of these proposals have been successful and many were not... Learning from every proposal she writes, she continuously updates her proposal templates.
Sheila skillfully integrates effective communication, sustainability, social value, and ethics into strategies for every business function. She is a certified management consultant and trainer for businesses, professional associations, and academic institutions- working for small, medium, and large businesses, government entities, and nonprofits.
