Team Alignment: the secret sauce in highly effective teams

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Align you and your team using effective assessment and dialogue techniques

Teamwork is complicated these days. Teams are diverse and dispersed, so it can be tough to get everyone aligned. If you want to help yourself and your teams collaborate more effectively, this session is for you. You’ll find out some of the common challenges faced by teams today, and you’ll get tips for group alignment. Plus,  we’ll do a hands-on exercise to get you thinking about how to build bridges between diverse team members.

  • Do you feel like your team is working in a fog, unable to agree on a common goal?

  • As teams become increasingly diverse and dispersed, it’s getting harder and harder to build alignment.

  • Jane and Sheila will share insights from their work with MirrorMirror (a team alignment tool from Europe), on how teams can cut through the fog and work together effectively. Hint: it’s not about giving direction; it’s about building bridges.

  • In this session you’ll be doing a hands-on exercise on effective dialogue, to help develop your skills in inclusivity and tolerance.
