Spanning three decades in the investment industry and financial technology space, John’s professional career has been about creating better financial outcomes for investors and creating tools that allow plan sponsors to better service the financial wellness of employees.
John’s successful career in the investment industry included multiple roles - from Investment Advisor, Branch Manager, Regional Director and Vice President to numerous board positions within the financial services industry. Additionally, John has founded, or co-founded, several companies, Solium Capital (currently Morgan Stanley) among them.
Currently, as founder of YR Plans, John and his equally committed team, are setting out to provide employer solutions that address the number one impairment to employee financial wellness – debt, specifically, student loan debt.
In his personal life, John finds time to volunteer at multiple charitable organizations, play some guitar, shoot some hoop, but by far John’s favourite pastime involves casting a line in a river somewhere in Alberta.
