From Surviving in 2020 to Thriving in 2021 – 10 seconds at a time!

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Have you ever wondered how it is that some people seem to deal with life’s challenges more easily than others? Do you ever get distracted or frustrated with the negative voices in your head? Those people have strong PQ muscles. Those voices in your head belong to your Saboteurs. The good news is that you can turn down those voices and build your own PQ muscles, 10 seconds at a time. What is PQ muscle? Well, you’ve heard of IQ, and you’ve heard of EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient). PQ is our Positive Intelligence Quotient.

PRESENTER

Angie Alexander is a professional engineer who has spent over 20 years in Calgary’s oil & gas sector. She is an empathetic engineer who, in the last few years, has found her calling in leadership coaching, team effectiveness, and generally helping professionals be better versions of themselves. During the months of the pandemic, she discovered Positive Intelligence and can’t wait to share some of her learnings with you. At the end of this seminar, you will understand more about Positive Intelligence – it’s roots in neuroscience and positive psychology and have some tangible exercises that you can do to begin building your PQ muscles. By strengthening your PQ muscles, you will be able to handle the negative challenges that life presents in a more positive way which in turn boosts your productivity which improves performance and ultimately impacts your bottom line, increasing profit.
