Alberta funding program: Innovation Employment Grant (IEG) and regional trends in SR&ED

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Join us as we dive into Alberta's new funding program, the Innovation Employment Grant (IEG), which was launched on January 1, 2021. IEG is the functional replacement of the previous Alberta SR&ED tax credit program (Scientific Research & Experimental Dev’t). We'll review the mechanics of the incentive program, eligibility requirements and the net return your company can expect under the new framework.

We’ll also present an evaluation of SR&ED trends across Canada, including the economic impact of Covid this past year on total expenditures claimed by taxpayers as well as audit and review rates by region.

Any questions in advance of the webinar can be directed to elliot.cudmore@tsgi.ca
