She currently sits on the Bumble Bee Venture Capital Board and is a member in good standing with the Alberta Enterprise Group and the Past President of the ACG Calgary-Chapter.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Manitoba and has over 25 years’ experience as a leader in successful organizations. Prior to moving into the oil and gas industry, Shane spent 14 years in the consumer packaged goods sector working with Nestle and General Mills. In 2007, he changed industries and joined Strad as the Sales & Marketing Manager before being promoted in 2008 to an ever expanding role in operations as a General Manager. By 2011, he was promoted to Vice President of Drilling Services Canada and then advanced again in 2012 to the Senior Vice President role to oversee Canadian operations. In 2014, Shane was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Shane and his family are active members in their community and volunteer with Inn from the Cold and various kid’s sports associations.
Leah-Anne is the Founder of Beyond Creative a consulting firm specializing in supporting small to mid-size companies in how to develop and implement a creative mindset within their organizations to inspire innovation that can lead to product diversity and increased revenues. Leah-Anne started her career in retail at FGL Sports, working in Business Reporting and Analysis for the Operations department, where she developed and managed the delivery of sales and payroll targets for Sport Chek, Atmosphere, National Sports, Sport Mart, and Hockey Experts stores across Canada. During her time at FGL Sports Leah-Anne learned to focus on finding opportunities for success within in organizations using a customer-centric lens. This lens was critical in elevating employee customer connection. This employee customer connection proved to achieve retail goals and support employee incentives. Most recently, Leah-Anne served as Chief Commercial Officer for Beakerhead Creative Society, a registered charity and not-for-profit organization. Leah-Anne identified and implemented new creative strategies to increase earned revenue that would stabilize the future financial strength of Beakerhead.
