Hydrocarbon Dynamics (HCD) is a global provider of specialist Oil & Gas production chemicals that are environmentally safe, high performing and significantly cost effective. With more than 30 years experience, Hydrocarbon Dynamics is uniquely positioned to provide tailored solutions to operators who require innovative and green tech chemicals to reduce down-time, increase production and increase revenue. We work closely with our clients to ensure a tailored fit between our products and processes and their unique oil field challenge. Together, we attain increased efficiency levels through the best application of our solutions and any unique chemical concern the customer may have. HCD products and services are provided through direct sales and approved local providers. All providers are supported by HCD’s technical services field and laboratory teams.
HCD was started 11 years ago, when Dr. Nick Castellano, an ex-Nuclear Chemist with the U.S. Navy, invented Multi-Flow for use on problematic oil-water emulsions in producing oil fields. Since then, many other green tech oil field chemicals have been developed in-house to form a large specialized product line. These products are especially effective in Canada’s cold climate, and tailored to our vast heavy oil and oil sands producing industries. HCD is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Indago Energy Proprietary Limited of Melbourne Australia, with offices around the world. A new office was just formed in Calgary in September, with HCD Canada Limited incorporated in Alberta.
