Amazing People & Partners - ReSourceYYC Celebrates our First Christmas with you!
It is that time of year for looking ahead, looking back and being thankful for the blessings we have enjoyed.
First, we would like to say how thankful we are at ReSourceYYC and in awe of the talented people and amazing partners that have been part our start-up journey this year. Being surrounded by a community of positive entrepreneurial members makes every lunchroom conversation and networking event a collision of ideas and possibilities that are energizing. Our staff is incredible, and we need to acknowledge the contributions from Alyssa, Kate & Robyn for making ReSourceYYC such a welcoming place to be at. (A special shout-out to Kerri who helped get us on our feet).
It is hard to believe that ReSourceYYC started as a concept that we discussed with Calgary Economic Development in April to find ways to make Calgary a "Talent Hub". We had our first members in May of this year and in this short period, ReSourceYYC has grown into a buzzing talent hub that we envisioned. We have already seen several companies launch, grow and be recognized in the industry.
We are also proud of our software partners who have worked with us to build ReSourceNET, which is a robust platform that allows professionals to explore new opportunities and build projects to launch companies. We would like to thank geoLOGIC, Value Navigator, Entero, Seisware, and Divestco.
2016 has been a difficult year for Calgarians and we understand the hardship that has faced many companies and individuals. However, we know the power that hope and optimism brings to people even in the darkest situations; at ReSourceYYC we are fortunate to be part of a community that has come together to shine brightly with enthusiasm and ideas. We have full confidence that 2017 will be a better year, we know this because Calgary’s most important resource, people (not oil), are making a comeback in full-force. At ReSourceYYC we are proud to support people who are going to make a difference this coming year.
