Networking Event: "Are Professional Associations Still Relevant in Alberta Today?"

With the changing landscape in Alberta the role of Professional Associations is changing and there are many questions about how relevant they are today. Are the benefits of joining an association worth the cost and time that it takes a busy professional to stay engaged. Are the programs that Professional Associations offer relevant to you? Do associations have the political clout to represent the members and lobby on their behalf? If you are an unemployed professional, does the recognition of being a professional add value when searching for work?
